Australian Labradoodle Happenings

Five Australian labradoodles visiting for a playdate. From left: Mattie, Madelyn, Chloe, Tillie, Cocoa.

Australian labradoodles enjoy socializing with humans as well as with other dogs. We have regular play dates with labradoodles that live in our community. […]

The end of labradoodle pups, the beginning of spring.

Garden Clubs visit gardens to get ideas and information about gardening in Cambria, California. The Newcomers Club in Cambria visits our garden and views the labradoodles on the deck. Visitors had questions on drought-tolerent plants, fertilizers, and gophers. […]

Labradoodle puppies moved to garden room

Our 4-week-old puppies have been moved from our bedroom into our more spacious garden room. I’ve had no time to post pictures of Tillie’s new labradoodle puppies. December was a busy month for us. We met our new grandson, visiting from Alexandria Virginia. We had a wonderful month full of people, Scandinavian food, and puppies. […]

Six Australian Labradoodle Puppies

We co-own two breeding Australian Labradoodles. Puppies are raised in a whelping box in our home where the mother is allowed to come and go as she wishes. The puppies are handled several times daily as we follow a bio-sensor, or Super Dog program. The purpose of the program is to stimulate the puppies neurological development, producing intelligent, calm, and loving dogs. Our dogs make excellent service, therapy, and companion dogs. […]

Labradoodles Garden Party

Four colors of labradoodles from left to right, cafe, chocolate, red, and cream. Beautiful!

We, who own labradoodles in Cambria, are very proud of our doodles. There are several of us that own them in this town and when we get the chance, we try to get them together in our gardens. […]

Labradoodle Playdate

Four Australian Labradoodles resting after a playing in the garden.

We had four Australian labradoodles in our garden last week. They are such joyous dogs. Running through the garden, smelling all the animal scents left behind by native visitors. They stood staring through the fencing at the chickens. Yes, I kept the hens locked in. Then they collapsed in exhausting on the deck where we […]

Meet “Brown Sugar” at 3 days. Eat, sleep, love is her motto.

Some of you who read my blog know that once and in a while I get “off subject” and leave gardening on the back burner. We have two lovable Australian labradoodles that we co-own with a breeder (Country Labradoodles). They bring great […]

A Fall in the Garden

Marilyn and Star Boy

“I didn’t mean to do it!”

I’ve had to put aside my computer for the last month. I took a fall in the garden and have been in the hospital for the last four weeks. Early one beautiful morning in late February, I broke my hip. I’d taken the labradoodle puppy, Marilyn, the one […]

Labradoodles Meet Hens

Scooter and hens

“Scooter”, one of our six-week-old Australian labradoodles, meets the hens.

We’ve had the best luck with our two Australian Labradoodles and the two elderly hens Daisy and Sweetpea. Labradoodles are rather high energy dogs and I really thought that we would never be able to let both hens and dogs out in the yard […]
